Investor Memo

Viteapp.co is an all-in-one logistics platform that allows people to easily and affordably access transport and delivery services across 70+ tier 1 and tier 2 underserved cities in the SADC Region - starting with Mauritius.

Unfair Advantage, Problem & Competition
Vite’s, first of its kind, multi-channel booking platform which includes a mobile app, website, call centre and whatsapp chatbot enables thousands of individuals in Mauritius to seamlessly request a cab and get food and packages delivered cheaply and quickly.

The Problem
Moving people and things is cumbersome and expensive across SADC cities because existing modules and operators rely on slow and inefficient models like hailing by hand or phone call.e.g. taxis. In addition, oral pricing leads to the average user getting ripped off frequently.
This huge problem is prevalent in our target demographic, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) which is extremely underserved but has a taxi and delivery addressable market of $5.4B per year.

Mutil-modal Approach
Uber was denied entry into Mauritius in 2018 because it’s one-size fits all approach relies heavily on individual operators instead of current taxi operators. Our multi-modal approach appealed to Mauritius authorities and Vite was awarded $20,000 in grant support by the Government of Mauritius. The 6th President of Mauritius sits on our advisory board.

Market Opportunity
Our first five years targets the Southern Africa demographic SADC (70+ underserved cities), being sub-saharan Africa’s wealthiest, fastest growing region, with a combined $ 5.4B taxi and food & parcel delivery market. Vite will become the region’s first ever super app offering transport, delivery and financial services.
